Evangelism is the act of sharing the Gospel – the Good News of Christ – in word and community. For many of us our experience of Christian community begins in church on Sunday morning. And the first people we meet when we arrive are the greeters. Before each Mass our greeters welcome people into the church service like welcoming guests to a dinner party. Just as the host of a party does, with a smile and hello, greeters go to the door to welcome all to the banquet of the Lord. This ministry only requires 20 extra minutes of your time before the Mass you attend.
